CAMEL+Cnect 3D Builder Updates and Call for Feedback / August Product Showcase - ACADS-BSG

We’ve just deployed the latest update to the CAMEL⁺Cnect 3D Builder – see our Product Roadmap (Launched tab) for the full details and release notes.

Among many other new features and improvements, the CAMEL⁺ Standard Wall/Roof Library is now built into the 3D Builder, giving you the option to select from the list of standard types in lieu of creating custom types.

There’s also plenty more on the way:

CAMEL⁺ Results Integration – view your results visually in the 3D Builder and print them to your PDF layouts
Detect Rooms from PDF – speed up your workflow even further by generating rooms automatically from your PDF floor plans instead of tracing them
Automatic adjacent shading – utilise the 3D model to automatically generate reveals where adjacent walls of your building provide shade to others

The user interface for HYENA⁺ is much cleaner and more user friendly than the UI used for the original HYENA program. This makes the experience more enjoyable, easy, and less taxing when using the program for long periods of time. HYENA is an excellent tool to have and its now web-based nature with HYENA⁺ has allowed it to become even more beneficial.

Moving to a cloud based platform has improved the overall performance of the software.
