A Major CAMEL+Cnect 3D Builder Update is on the Way - ACADS-BSG

The next CAMEL⁺Cnect 3D Builder update is coming in the next couple of weeks – and it’s our biggest yet.

The headline feature is Detect Rooms from PDF. Instead of tracing every room over your PDF floor plan, the 3D Builder will now detect and generate them for you automatically, turning the most time-consuming part of building your model into a few clicks.

Also arriving is CAMEL⁺ Results Integration, which pushes your calculation results from CAMEL⁺ back into the 3D Builder. You can then view and interrogate your results directly on your floor plans, and print them to the PDF layouts in your exported report.

The update also brings:

Skylights – add skylights directly to your model
Automatic reveals – generated wherever adjacent parts of your building shade one another
Streamlined AHU and zoning setup – a series of workflow improvements
Faster 3D view – larger models now noticeably smoother

The user interface for HYENA⁺ is much cleaner and more user friendly than the UI used for the original HYENA program. This makes the experience more enjoyable, easy, and less taxing when using the program for long periods of time.
